Fundação Res Publica

The Fundação Res Publica (Res Publica Foundation) was founded on 2 July 2008.
It is composed by a Management Board comprising 5 members.
The Foundation is structured around three departments:

• José Fontana Center of Studies: promotion of democratic and free association, independent from parties or religious beliefs, at the service of the interests of citizens with a view to the consolidation of democracy
• Antero de Quental: Center of Studies: promotion of local power and democratic municipal policies, seeking to promote the gradual establishment of administrative decentralisation and regional autonomy in the context of a republican state
• Institute of Political Studies: promotion of debates, research, training and deepening of democracy and public policies
