The foundation of CEVRO - Liberal Conservative Academy, officially registered in August 1999 - was inspired by the idea of lifelong enhancement of the knowledge and skills of right-wing oriented people and by the activities of think tanks of ideologically related Western right-wing parties. The objectives of CEVRO embrace support of spontaneous activities of individuals, versatile preparation of publicly active persons, free exchange of experience and knowledge on domestic and international levels, breaking through the barriers between political, academic, entrepreneurial, media and civil spheres as well as among various groups of the population nationally and internationally. And last but not least, the mission of CEVRO is also aimed at evoking lively interest in public issues and popularising liberal conservative thinking and policy.

CEVRO activities:

  • Publishing the CEVRO Revue - a 24 page monthly with regular columns serving as its main communication instrument,
  • Organizing of the Liberal Conservative Academy, i.e. systematic interdisciplinary studies of economy, international relations, political science, law, political marketing, communication and public presentations focused on the preparation of people entering or already active in politics or administration,
  • Organizing workshops, conferences and public discussions on current as well as timeless topics with domestic and foreign participation,
  • Publishing various publications,
  • Private college - CEVRO Institut (www.cevroinstitut.cz) - bachelor and master degree - political science and public administration, Master of Public Administration (MPA)

International study visit enabling youth of democratic political powers from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and former Yugoslav countries to examine electoral process in a country which successfully overcame the undemocratic legacy of communism to achieve membership of EU and NATO and also to network with political organizations from other EU countries.
