Christian Democratic International Center (KIC) is a non-profit organization and with ideological ties to the Swedish Christian Democratic party and associated organizations. Previously the foundation was a part of the structure of the Christian Democratic party, but from the year 2005 KIC is an independent non-profit organization.

KIC has activities and collaborations in Europe, Africa and Latin America. Thematically our activities are focused on strengthening political parties/movements in developing countries and repressive states, as well as working with a free and independent media. Another aspect KIC puts emphasis on in our activities are women and youth participation in politics.

Let’s go together

The value of democracy must be taught, explained and practised. The project “Let’s go together” has successfully trained hundreds of young people from all over Ukraine in the spirit of democracy, the Christian Democratic ideology, political leadership and communication, ensuring the future existence of democratic, value based politicians in Ukraine

Training of trainers in the Youth Assembly

The workshops let participants take the step from passive to active stakeholders in YA. They have become more knowledgeable actors, especially in the mobilisation process. This has made many feel more included, and as democracy is also about inclusion, the democratic development of YA has been taken to another level.
