The European Network of Political Foundations will hold its Open Conference on ‘ Innovative Tools to promote External Assistance - New media in Development Education & Democracy Support.’  Field experience and reflection on new methodologies are in the focus of the panels.

ENoP has changed its premises. As of August 30th, 2010 ENoP's office could be reached at Av. de Cortenbergh/Kortenberglaan 71, Bruxelles.

The third Africa-European Union Summit is scheduled for November 2010. The focus of the event will be on the Joint Africa-EU Strategy (JAES), which gives a stronger role to the African Union (AU). The EU will have to opportunity to renew and simplify its partnership with Africa by discussing the problems and potential for future cooperation.

For the first time the Green Economics Institute got awarded with an action bid for a ‘Youth in action’ project, financed by the European Commission.

Representatives of the Institute have attended specialised ENoP trainings on EC project application. Providing them with specific methodology and encouragement during the process, the trainings have contributed to their success.

On Monday 12^th of July, over 750 guests attended the joint event organised by the German political foundations together with the Minister of State in the German Federal Foreign Office, Dr. Werner Hoyer MP, at the Koloniënpaleis, in Tervueren.

In this occasion, MP Dr. Hoyer gave an outline of the challenges the EU is facing under the new, current political and financial conditions.

Petyo Kanev, the first trainee in the office of the ENoP project, participates today as the Bulgarian representative in the meeting of the Council of the European Union ‘Youth working Party’. The topics: European and International policy agendas on children, youth and children's rights, structured dialogue.

 After his return in September 2009 Kanev continued working for the Bulgarian Ministry of education, youth and science as junior expert for youth issues and structured dialogue. He is a member of the Institute for Social Integraition ISI, Sophia, and holds the position of a substitute representative in the ENoP Steering Committee .

Julie Cantalou, from the Liberal Catalan Foundation CatDem, ENoP Member, attended on behalf of ENoP this 2 days conference, which was the culmination of the first consultation phase of the newly created DG Justice.

The Evert Vermeer Foundation, Netherlands, is the 64^th  ENoP member.

Founded in 1967, the Evert Vermeer Foundation is based in Amsterdam. EVF arose from the Dutch Labour Party. The ENoP Steering Committe has approved the foundation as new member at its meeting on 8th of July.
