ENoP will as well organize a side event on 18 May: “From developmental to political - The paradigm shift in EU democracy promotion”.

Effective support to democratization processes necessitates coherent and complementary approaches and the right balance between support to democratic structures and promotion of human rights. The workshop aims to discuss with key stakeholders (Commission representatives, MEPs, civil society practitioners from the field), about the need for reforms of the EU-policy framework and its instruments.
