The ENoP office invited MEPs and representatives from member organisations to an exchange breakfast on democracy support in EU external programmes. Malgorzata Wasilewska from DG Relex updated the group on the state of play concerning the identification of pilot countries to exercise the implementation of the respective Council conclusions, published on 17 November, 2009.
The breakfast was hosted by the Dutch MEP Thijs Berman/S&D and took place in the European Parliament. Among the participants were: Edward McMillan Scott/ALDE, Michael Gahler/EPP, Dick Toornstra/OPPD and representatives of ENoP organizations in Bulgaria, Germany and Slovenia.
