This year we are offering our first event with our new partner. The event will be the first-ever Green Economics Institute Conference in Italy and will focus on looking at practical evidence and case studies of Venice and other locations affected by costs and economics of climate change. There will also be cultural exploration, site-seeing and field trips to discover up close how climate change is affecting both Venetian ecology as well as economy. Our newest Partner is located on the Venice Lagoon, and as this conference is proving quite popular already, be sure to email early for more details and let us know if you want to speak there. We will run field trips to explore the fast changing economy and ecology of the entire lagoon as well as cultural excursions to see world famous heritage museums and sites. The ecology and economics are fascinating: you can really see tangible effects of climate change in the lagoon as well as the clash between ecology and economy played out and affecting local people.Learn first-hand how green economics can offer solutions to many of those problems.
