Three days of intense learning

On April 2009 ENoP – European Network of Political Foundations conducted its first 3-day training course on – “Instruments and Thematic Programmes of the EU in Democracy Promotion and Development Cooperation”. The seminar was held in Wendgräben, Germany.

The 21 participants from 13 different countries represented 14 different ENoP member organizations from 4 different party families.

With this training course, ENoP aimed to improve its members’ knowledge on funding opportunities, budget lines, selected instruments and programmes of the European Union in the area of development cooperation and democracy promotion. Moreover it aimed at giving an overview of the procedures and application formalities of grant applications in the area of external relations.

According to the evaluations, the participants stated that it was a useful meeting and a good opportunity for its members for creating new contacts for future co-operations.
