ENoP Training Course on involvement in EC projects: Domaine de Montagnac (FR), 7-11 June 2010
After having jointly acquired knowledge and competences on EU’s thematic programmes and proposal writing in previous common training courses in the context of ENoP, the organisers of the event, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, considered that ENoP members are all well “equipped” for moving on to the “next level”.
Thus, special emphasis in this year’s training course was placed on the evaluation procedures of concept notes as well as on the further development of full applications in EC development programmes. The methodology of this event was based on the identification of project ideas and subsequent design of concept notes likely to be submitted in a real call for proposals from the European Commission in the following year.
The participants have been therefore asked to submit, prior to the residential training, a concept note according to the guidelines of the Call “Raising public awareness of development issues and promoting development education in the European Union” under the “Non-State Actors and Local Authorities in Development” (NSA) programme, which has been the starting point for the work on the Logical Framework and the writing of a full application, guided by the trainer, Angela James.
