ENoP Training on financial aspects of EU projects, Borovets (BG)

21 participants from 17 ENoP member organizations, affiliated to 5 different party families attended the last ENoP training, which took place on 8-10 June 2011 in a nice and quiet location, Borovets (BG), surrounded by the forests of the Rila Mountain.

The organization of the event was facilitated by the ENoP Bulgarian members Liberal Politological Institute and Institute for Social Integration.

The three-day training focused on the financial planning process, on budget forecast and building and its effectiveness for EU projects. An introduction on EC financial regulation was also presented to the attendees, mainly at their first experiences in submitting EC project proposals.

Exercises in working groups allowed the participants to put into practice the lessons learnt and to familiarize with the tools provided.

 Good practices in budgeting and in the financial planning process have been shared with the participants by the trainer, Sabine Harriehausen (Konrad Adenauer Stiftung).
